i LOVED this ending to the duology! the perfect amount of suspense mixed with humor, spice, and sweetness. i was so happy to watch each character grow and there were so many moments between Tiernan’s family, the Gentlemen, and Bianca & Brandon that made me smile. every detail and line in this book Giana killed; she is so good!!

Tiernan was perfect. It hurt my heart to read how much character growth he had. I felt so many emotions for him. Not to mention.. the emotions I felt for Bianca.. her finally figuring out her families secrets. I loved the family dynamics.. between the family they were given and the family they chose. The spicy scenes in the book were hot and perfect.
I really enjoyed this second half of Tiernan and Bianca's story. Where the first book was very dark, a riddled with sadness, this one seemed to focus more on the healing and love. But there was still plenty of twists and intrigue.
It was also great to see Bianca go from being a naive young girl to a strong fierce woman who did what it takes to get what she is owed. And every scene with Brandon put a huge smile on my face.

Once I started reading Beautiful Nightmare, fitting title you will understand once you read the book, I could not stop until I got to the end.
The book picks up where Ms. Darling left us with that stunning cliffhanger in Dangerous Temptation.
I was on pins and needles throughout the book.
This was an edge of my seat, heart thumping wildly read for me.
Filled with suspense, betrayal , passion and love.
Family dynamics from both the Constantines and the Morellis are intense, fierce and deadly.
Both families are twisted and mangled in lies, deception and greed.
Which equates to deadly situations in order to not only stay in power but to gain more of it.
I loved Tiernan so much in this book.
He really started to see what has been done to him.
He started to finally realize what and who he needed in his life.
Along with the monster that was created the author showed us the vulnerable sad side of this complex man.
There is so much more to Tiernan than meets the eye.
Bianca has finally had enough of being used by everyone around her.
She figures out she also has a lot of power to yield and use.
And she does it with wit and savviness.
I loved how Tiernan and Bianca grew and developed.
How they brought out the inner strength and the best of qualities they both possessed.
I loved their passion and lust for each other.
It was intense, raw and gritty and so earthshaking.
I also loved how Tiernan and his brothers found there way back to each other.
This story just had all the feels to it.
I could feel the anger, the pain the loss.
Also the power of love, forgiveness and happiness.
FYI in certain scenes you will definitely need tissues.

Since I do not like Dangerous Temptation it is quite hard to enjoy Beautiful Nightmare. The push and pull feels like childish and dragging.

I love for anything in the Midnight Dynasty world. It is a constant back and forth of whether I am team Constantine or Morelli. Usually, Morelli wins out. However, all the characters are delicious unless its Caroline or Bryant. Then those two can rot in hell.
This author did a good job having cameos from some major characters (Leo and Lucian in particular). I liked that she kept the characters the same even though those had been written by Amelia Wilde and Jade West. Its a testament to the skills of the authors that they can seamlessly blend their writing together when they are all vastly different.
I loved the growth in Tiernan in this book. I felt bad at what he had endured. It made the fact that Bianca and Brando were able to fill that void and make up that lack of love that much more crucial to his growth. Bianca grew a lot in this story. A LOT. She made me proud at how much backbone she got. I never would have seen the day that Caroline would get her comeuppance the way that she did. Or even Bryant for that matter.
I did wish there was more of resolution in regards to Beckett. I also wanted vs peak into the future instead of a HFN. I needed answers into how Brand's health was in the future, where things were with the evil patriarch and matriarch of the two warring families, and I wanted to see how Tiernan and Bianca adjusted to life , especially, with the age difference between them.
I'm not sure who is writing Carter's book from this assortment of authors but I'm going to need that book soon. I loved his character and wanted to know what his secrets were that Bryant hinted at.

Oh wow! I loved the conclusion of Bianca and Tiernan's story so freaking much! Everything about Beautiful Nightmare was enticing and kept me glued to my kindle! I enjoyed every instant of my read between the dark and suspenseful intrigue, the filthy hot encounters, the sweet and romantic moments that packed ALL THE FEELS!
This second installment in the Dark Dream shows a transformed Tiernan. It's apparent that Bianca changed him for the better and helped him open up his heart. He realizes there's more to life than cruelty and revenge when he can share it with Bianca, Brandon and the Gentlemen. I was swooning over the parts where he let his heart speaks and be vulnerable. It made him even more irresistible. This softer side of him doesn't mean he still isn't a possessive alpha with a very dirty mouth. He certainly displays this aspect of his personality in abundance.
