Bianca & Tiernan

Beautiful Nightmare is the final book in the Dark Dream duet. After an exciting cliffhanger in [b:Dangerous Temptation|58504358|Dangerous Temptation (Dark Dream Duet, #1)|Giana Darling|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1629483183l/58504358._SY75_.jpg|91884867], I've been waiting eagerly to find out Biana and Tiernan's fate. Told in dual points of view, It's full of secrets, surprises, and a formidable change of plans.

Tiernan is a deadly weapon used by his ruthless and evil father who turned Tiernan against his brothers and sisters. But Tiernan has reached his limit after his father revealed his secret to his ward and she has fled to the enemy. After months of cruelty and contempt for the young woman he planned to use as his pawn for revenge, he will stop at nothing to get her back and keep her safe. His plans have changed. His heart has won.

Bianca has been betrayed and lied to for the last time. She plans to take things into her own hands despite the danger. Secrets will be revealed and revenge will be exacted. Can she forgive the emotionally broken and vengeful man who saw her as an instrument of spite?

Their roles have reversed. Tiernan is growing a conscience and Bianca is growing a backbone. I love that Tiernan has finally acknowledged that his father is the real enemy and to his surprise and wish granted, his brothers are willing to help Tiernan take their father down. His reunion with his brothers is violent, but healing as they form the bond that has been missing for so long. There is also another surprising reunion for Tiernan that will add to the love and acceptance he needs so badly in his life.  Bianca shows her strength and moxy as she fools the cunning matriarch of the Constantine family to bring her down. It's a bittersweet unveiling when Bianca finds out the level of love her father had for her and Brando, her little brother, despite their illegitimacy and coming second to her father's powerful other family.

As for the revenge on both Tiernan's nasty father and Caroline Constantine, Bianca's father's manipulative and vile widow, it was a satisfying ending to the heartache and destruction they both caused.

Most of all, it's family that prevails. Finally, surrounded by love and support, Tiernan, Bianca, and Brando have the happily-ever-after they all deserved.

Again, I adore Tiernan's misfit group of Gentleman who are more than colleagues, but also his family. His brothers are a refreshing addition to the book as they step up and be the family Tiernan always wanted. As always, Bianca's sweet little brother, Brando steals the show with his honest questions and unconditional love for his extended family of dark heroes.

I'm delighted with the satisfactory ending to an intriguing dark romance full of drama, revenge and most importantly, family.

My Review (May contain spoilers, fair warning upon reading this review)

Beautiful Nightmare is the conclusion to the "Dark Dream Duet" and this is the continuation of our story that is complex dealing with our leading hero and heroine "Tiernan and Bianca" I was really curious to see where this one would deal with especially with some of the reveals that the first book "Dangerous Temptation" dealt with. I honestly still don't know how I fully feel about this duet lol I have SO many mixed feelings. While I was sucked completely into this duet and everything, and I loved the plot, the PLOT totally made this story work. However, the romance was lacking in this duet. Because I am sorry if the only time you are together, you are just having sex, the relationship is not going to quite sing to me. I need much more being portrayed and I understand the circumstances, I just was hoping we would see much more happening between them but sex just doesn't fix issues and that is kinda how this relationship felt to me. Now maybe I am blowing it out of proportion, but that is the impression I got from this story.

Now as for the plot, that was so intriguing. All the secrets left and right that are blended in here, and not knowing who is the true villain or hero was quite deep and really left me entrenched and hooked all the way through the story. And seeing our hero just fall for Bianca's little brother was so charming. I will say that overall I found this duet to be quite fun to read, despite the issues I had for it. And looking forward to explaining the other duet that this author has written.

OMG I knew @gianadarlingauthor would do it again. However somehow I’m never prepared. Lol

I mean what I say in my pic Giana is goddess at writing alpha dark dangerous men. Idk every male character I’ve read that she wrote I would sell my soul to.

Tiernan is daddy idc how dark and dangerous he is. I’m in love with him.

I hope in future stories of the families and perhaps the The Gentlemen we see a glimpse of Tiernan and Bianca with kids. They deserve a family and all the love and happiness.

I can't put into words what a gem this story is. It left me breathless and on edge every moment fearing that anything could happen. But what captivated me the most, was Tiernan's power to leave you trembling with his mere presence. This is a call out to all readers who are fans of a grumpy, possessive, mysterious, captivating, and protective character; you are going to fall in love.

I’m OBSESSED with Tiernan! I might have said something similar in my review for book 1 but I just really pictured Tiernan being this terrible disgusting man. And while he was mean to Bianca in book 1, I fell in love with him in book 2. Tiernan was.. everything. He was loyal without a doubt, passionate, vulnerable, fierce, and possessive. I’m here for alllll of that! Bianca was so strong for being so young. I’m obsessed with her. She rolls with the punches but she throws punches too, you know? I LOVE LOVE LOVE Brandon and The Gentlemen. They made this story even better. I REALLY wanted to see some interaction between Bianca and her Constantine siblings. I really did. I think it would have been explosive but it’s ok. I appreciated all we got to see between Bianca and Caroline. And HELLO?!?! Beckett Fairchild. Blew my mind. I guess I didn’t put that together. Lololol. I need more info from that! Anyway, this duet was great! Was it dark? Not too bad. Taboo? Yes! 12 year age gap!? Love that. I’m gonna restart book 1 just because I’m not ready to let Tiernan go!

This is the continuation of this dark duet...Tiernan and Bianca pick up right where they left off. Bianca is now staying at the Constantine Compound and Tiernan is standing up against his tyrannical father.

With book two there is more tension between these two powerhouse families and Tiernan and Bianca bring a lot more passion, along with all the feels.

Tiernan isn't about to stand down in the face of either his long suffering Morelli family nor will he let the Constantine's stand in his way of getting Bianca back into his life. He's been on his own when it comes to familial support for as long as he can remember. So much so, that he's made his own circle with The Gentlemen who are closer than those whom he shares blood with. However, will he turn down a helping hand when those blood brothers come knocking at his door, especially when he could use every gun and fist to get his precious Biana back by his side. How deep does pride run when it comes to love? I love revisiting the Morelli's, they are dark, dangerous, and the very definition of an antihero.

All Bianca has ever wanted is to fit in and be loved. To really truly have someone fight for her. It becomes very clear once she's inside the Constantine household that she doesn't fit in to Caroline's uppercrust image of what a Constantine is, but there might also be something more at play. While on the outside this is a place that Bianca's always dreamed of belonging, she now only dreams of returning to Tiernan's side. A beautiful nightmare is what she had while living under his roof and she misses her brother, Brando, terribly, not to mention The Gentleman and their growly leader, Tiernan as well.

While Tiernan and Bianca may ignite everytime they see each other, Tiernan is smart enough to know he can't just pull Bianca out of where she's at. Knowing it's something she's wanted her entire life, she has to return to him willingly or else she will never be happy by his side, but the big question that haunts him is will she truly be happy by his side? Now that he knows what he wants, which is her, he will do anything to make it happen. Even become the man he never knew he could be.

I wept so many times...Brando made me a mushy, cry baby over and over. That sweet, little boy wrapped every single adult around his finger and I was one of them I wholeheartedly admit. I almost can't wait to see what he does as an adult, but for now in his adorable cute boy phase, he made my heart weep.

Beautiful Nightmare was everything that a second half of a duet needs. It wrapped up all ends and was a great fit within the Dark Dynasty world.
