I'm really enjoying these books. It's good to read something without a lot of violence and death for a change.
I'm reading the e-book, and in this version, the word terrible and terribly are misspelled (one r). It is not just once but every time. Annoying!
This is a wonderful series that takes place in the small fiction town of Cedar Cove.. There are many characters in these books and the stories flow from book to book telling us the tales of all who live there. I really enjoy the connections and friendships between characters and seeing them come through hardships to find true happiness and love..
Readable story about a variety of people in Cedar Grove, focusing on some of the relationships between some of the people in the town. You know that there are sequels and that there are more stories to be told.
Several relationships got happy "endings" in this 3rd Cedar Cove book. It's like a soap opera, it hooks you and you can't stop reading. I'm enjoying the characters, the story lines, and the town. I was a little frustrated with Grace in this story. Olivia and Jack - I feel like their story was never really the focus, even though Olivia was book 1, and then I was less satisfied with how this romance went than others in the books so far.
Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Actual Rating: 4.5
This was an amazing read. The third instalment continues to follow the lives of the residents of Cedar Cove. It was well-written, and witty. I loved every minute of it. The only reason for 4.5 is because it ended so soon, I wanted that last scene to be longer. The characters were amazing. I am glad that Zachary and Rosie are able to work through their differences and become stronger. Also, I love Olivia. Charlotte is still my absolute favourite. However, I thought that Zachary’s character was really great in this one. He had more personality in this book. The ending was amazing, but cut short. I hope it continues in book 4. I can’t wait! Overall, an incredible read.

311 Pelican Court is the third installment of the Cedar Cove series. It starts out with the annoying divorced couple from the last book, but I will say that I ended up enjoying the way things turned out with that part of the story. The plot threads that were left hanging in book two were wrapped up here and I was glad of that. This series is light soap opera fare and surprisingly it's been the perfect counter to the heavy fantasy world of Brandon Sanderson that I've been listening to on audio. I can only handle one of those at a time.
While these are engrossing I can't bring myself to give them more than 3 stars because they are just complete fluff and I don't feel like the writing is on par with a 4 star book. Sometimes that doesn't bother me and I can enjoy a story enough to give high marks anyway, but with this series it does bother me. As I've said in my previous reviews, there is too much telling and not enough showing, and too much back and forth between characters who cannot make up their minds about how they feel, which is one of the things that makes this series resemble a soap. Despite all that I still do like this series and I've already started the fourth book in this series and am just as glued to it as I was to the previous ones.

I'm really enjoying this series - especially as 'lighter' reading between other books. This story focuses on Zach and Rosie Cox, who have been granted a divorce by Judge Olivia Lockhart - but the custody arrangement is very unusual. In order to minimise disruption on their two children, Olivia orders that the children are to stay in the family home, while Zach and Rosie move in and out to take custody. Zach and Rosie have lots of misunderstandings in their relationship - and this is partly what lead to their divorce ... so they have a lot to overcome. Other residents, Bob and Peggy Beldon are still trying to figure out how they ended up with a dead guest at their B&B. And Olivia has to contend with her ex-husband wanting her back after being divorced for over 10 years.
