Another very good book about everyday life in the fictional town of Cedar Cove.

Only interesting mistake I noticed was saying a retired Naval Officer had retired as a Colonel. There are no colonels in the Navy.

Really getting into this series now and enjoying the characters of Cedar Cove.
dark emotional funny hopeful mysterious sad medium-paced
emotional hopeful reflective slow-paced

Another good read

Another unusual ruling by Judge Olivia Lockhart sets town tongues wagging. It also causes the couple intent on divorce have to re-think things in regards to their children. Other relationships are also tested in this book and those couples have to evaluate what is important and what isn't. An enjoyable series that focuses on the town as a whole while also diving deeper into certain individual's lives.

This is the 3rd book in the Cedar Cove Series and just as great as the first 2! I usually get tired of "series" books by the 2nd one but I can honestly say I cannot wait to read on.
Each book adds a new set of characters, but continues to keep us up to date on the old ones. I love, love, love this series!!

Awesome book

311 Pelican CT wasn't my favorite in the series so far. I didn't enjoy Rosie and Zach's story as much as I did others. I did still enjoy the book though because I got to learn more about other characters and even see a few from earlier books. I look forward to starting 44 Cranberry Point and learning more about the Beldons.

OK, so maybe it was not the wisest move to read a 3rd installment of a series at first, but I needed a book like this for a reading challenge, it promised some harmless entertainment and it was for free at the time I downloaded it.

Unfortunately it did not deliver.

However, it is quite big on the weird curiosity factor: I do not think I ever came across an author who managed to put a huge sticker on one of her supposed main characters' forehead, screaming "BEWARE. I AM THE (stupidest b#$ch oh scratch that! she is not THAT deep to be called even that) SILLIEST COW ON THIS SWEET EARTH!" in Chapter 1 , Page 1 (maybe it was already page 2 - hard to tell on kindle). Surely that must be some kind of record (or I was lucky enough to escape these kind of shockers before).

The other characters were not very interesting on their own merits (though at one point that other woman, Grace, started competing for the "silly cow" title in earnest), but appeared decent enough, especially compared to Rose.

It was mostly irritation mingled with boredom, I struggled to finish it all.
