Blythe is on the run and somehow ends up in a small town, Ash Groove, obsessed with Halloween (they have a month-long Halloween festival). One day she meets Ames and then his friends Wolf and Onyx, and for reasons unknown to Blythe, she feels safe with all of them when she has never felt safe in her life. Strange events seem to follow Blythe and Ames, Wolf, and Onyx are determined to figure out what is behind them. This book focuses on the relationship between Blythe and Ames.

A bit confusing at first and very very twisted, but I like it , lol.

10/06/2024: re-read bc it’s spooky season and i feel like it’s a must. but also to refresh bc now i am going to read the rest of the Halloween Boys
I can't wait for the rest of the series. I love all of The Boys, I love Blythe, and This town is such a great setting. Do I have questions? Yes, but not enough that I'm knocked out of the story. It just makes me want to read more.
This was my cup of poison. No drops left. So fucking good. Perfect for spooky season! I loved everything about this.
