It's sad. I did feel like I was in the mind of a young man going through it all. Really appreciate the writing.

I don’t have a lot to say about this, I know i need to think about it a lot more, maybe even read it a second time. I just know exactly what it feels like to be Holden, and his loneliness and confusion and fear in this book are so relatable. Everybody has to grow up, and that’s terrifying.

I’ve never really had an answer for that old ice-breaker, “if you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, real or fictional, who would it be?”

It’s Holden Caulfield. I’d have a goddamn Coke with him and listen to any old thing he wanted to talk about.
