I chose this book for an AP English assignment and I have never before had so much fun giving a presentation about this book. I'll admit that at first I couldn't quite discern what the plot was leading to or from, but as it went along, I became closer with Holden (the narrator) and started to feel sympathy for his general circumstances. I thoroughly enjoyed it (though I recognize that it's not something everyone can and should read).
