A wonderfully slow burn that ramps up to a fantastic romance story. Enemies to lovers, past trauma, brother’s best friend, and a hot lead singer in a band? These tropes came together wonderfully in this quick read!

Avery is the FMC, a med student who just ended a year-long relationship and moves in with her brother and his band. I thought there might be some RH going to happen, but there wasn’t any. Liam, the MMC, is a strong character who breaks under the weight of Avery’s kindness and sass. She’s a bit of a brat, but that’s not where this story went either.

Overall, a good read, quick and fun and flirty.
