The premise is a good one, the book did not live up to it for me. The story of the horror house is the only story that is complete. All others kind of hang in ambiguity, like the writer either didn't know what to do with them or wanted to leave it to the reader. Something i dislike in books. I want to know what the writer had intended. It's not a bad book, just not great either.

Wow wow wow! I will be thinking about this book forever. I loved the prose and effortless move from the past to the present. Alex is a remarkable fmc and I both love and am heartbroken by this story.
