I so rarely struggle to finish a book but I just couldn’t keep going. It took me days and days just to get as far as I did. The premise sounded brilliant but I think the order of the story and the writing style just weren’t for me.

I thought this book was quite good. It started off really intriguing. Then some long chapters and time jumps made it a bit challenging at times, but overall was very interesting. The story revolves around Girl A who escaped her abusive family and her reaction to her mother's death. What was good, but yet annoying about the book was how it left a lot unanswered - which makes it more realistic. It's horrifying to read, yet you can't keep away.
