WELL. I was all giggly while reading because Andrew Polley Hollis just does that to a person. He is just so perfectly charming. Only thing I could want from this book is Andrew's POV. It's one of the very few things this book lacks.
I love the premise, I just wish that we spent a tiny bit more time with the time-loop. But I appreciate that it doesn't feel altogether forgotten. It could be really easy once things are going well in one go-about to forget the original premise and pretend it never happened. Or maybe I'm just dumb and could never write a book cause I'm easily distracted.
I think people go into Christina Lauren books expecting 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 and become very disappointed by the fade-to-black or "tasteful movie sex" scenes. I don't think the lack of explicit spice makes the book any less good. I was fully invested in the relationship and how sweet and kind and lovely and adoring Andrew is. Damn hes really just the Dream Man. Maelyn really knows how to pick 'em.
I'm rambling. I have no coherent thoughts. I only know that I enjoyed it and it was well written and I even cried at one point.

I really enjoyed this read, and had a hard time putting it down! The setting was so cozy, as were the characters—especially Benny. But I found 3rd act conflict to be weird, and I wished the loop would’ve come to a more satisfactory ending. I just feel like it wasn’t wrapped up as well as I wanted, nor was the conflict with Theo.

Super cute, groundhogs day type of story. A girl relives her Christmas vacation until she is able to find happiness.

I was looking for a holiday read and found a Christmas story that I’m sure holds up any time of year. The prose is wonderfully invisible and the characters feel real, not forced. Once I was in the story, I was in the story until the last page.

cute and funny...a little strange and it kinda lost me at the scavenger hunt but I'm not picky about my Christmas reads. 5 stars from me ✌️

This is my first book by Christina Lauren that isn’t YA, and though I didn’t have high expectations going in, I ended up seriously loving it. It was a fun, festive, heartwarming story of self-discovery, a big blended family, and childhood friends to lovers, and exactly what I needed at this point in time. Mae and Andrew are adorable, their families are endearingly hilarious, and I couldn’t stop smiling over the last 30 pages. I’m definitely buying my own copy, and searching for more books by this duo to read ASAP. 🎄❤️
