it was all good until she got sexually assaulted and then Avery says "What the f*** were you thinking?" that's giving victim blaming to me and I realllyyyyy don't like that. ok also Claire was in denial the whole time, and then Avery...like idk does he not know what consent is? Taking her keys and not giving them back until she talks to him, uhhh KISSING her after she tells him to go??? after he went on a date w/ another girl while being in love with her??? like ok I know this is a romance book and they love each other but that's not okay

good!
Love the way they love each other. Vivi was so adorable. I bawled at the end saying goodbye to her dad. Loved the side characters too. The only thing I hate is how they met and him being a manwhooore. When OW shows up he doesn’t keep her hands off him either time. Minus a star for that but otherwise loved the book. It was super long but there were only a few times I got impatient for the author to get on with the story.

Loved this wild romance
This was an emotional heartwrenching journey. It was a pleasure to have travelled it with Claire and Avery. I loved the Canadian backdrop. Anything with The Tragically Hip mentioned gets five stars.

Loved the book
The chemistry between the main characters was great and the growth of heroine even though she struggled with her insecurities. I cried in the latter part of this because of the bittersweet ending.

Too long especially when the same miscommunication/insecurity plot point is used like 3 times.
We get it, he's a playboy, she can't trust him.
2 Stars for Avery who's doing the most trying to wear his heart on his sleeve and prove himself. Would have been a 3 stars JUST for Avery, if only he could actually obtain some real consent in the first half of the book before mauling Claire and telling her she wants it.

At this point in my eyes Becka Mack can do no wrong. I have loved every book she’s put out so far To be fair her books are long and you could say a very slow burn because it takes so long for the couples to get together. I however, am a fan of the banter she writes and appreciate all of the supporting characters who get some shine in the meat of the story.
Love You Wild, like all of BM’s books, is a spicy romance with a story that’s strengthened by chosen family. Claire was slightly annoying at times but I loved how Avery busted through every wall she tried to create and never gave up no matter how much she tried to push him away.. which she did way too much lol! Claire was burned and loves hard so she was scared to let her guard down and Avery, even though he’s settling down for the first time, had so much patience and encouragement for her. He was swoon worthy!
Extra bonus point to my star rating - Gavin, just ugh! I shed real tears for him but it was written beautifully and the group hug with the chosen family was the icing on the cake.
The fry dipped in the frosty.. seriously?! I’ve been sipping nuggets in them since I was a kid and everyone always laughs at me. Now I have proof in print that I am not a weirdo!! Thank you Becka Mack lol
