I’m going to grab the physical copy of the book as the story is interesting. But the voice actor for the audiobook ruined it for me, one of the character voices was nail on a chalkboard for me and I had to stop

I really enjoyed it. Her writing was beautiful and skilled, i never would’ve thought this was her debut novel. I felt like it was mainly world building and not much actual plot happened. i loved the magic system! I kind of struggled to understand Elspeth sometimes. I would definitely consider it YA.

Wow. I didn't expect to like this as much as I did and I'm very excited to read the next book..

Amanda and I are arguing over this book. Anyways. Review: a girl too quickly falls for someone she swears she shouldn’t and stereotypes the book into every trope available, but with the setting of a really cool and NEW magic system that is imaginative and fun.
