This was a super spicy Billionaire romance. I enjoyed the plot twists and the way the FMC made the MMC prove his love for her.
I'd recommend this to my Spicy Billionaire lovers!

Extremely erotic. Loved the growth at the end by Holt. And her growth in realizing her worth.

I’ll start off by saying I didn’t have a problem with the MMC in this book. Is he cocky? Yes. Is he a jerk to Bristyn? Absolutely. Does everything reveal itself as the story is told? Without a doubt. Give the characters a chance. You won’t be disappointed.

Another note is while the FMC is married, her husband only married her with the agreement she allowed it to be an open marriage. She didn’t benefit from this agreement outside of their marriage in the past 10 years, except him staying married to him. Basically he wanted her but also wanted others.

My only drawback is I hate weak FMCs. Yes Bristyn has her moments but she is so quick to give in to carnal urges no matter how mad or hurt she is. That always drives me insane. But I did love the overall story.

DID NOT FINISH

I tried to continue with this book but the mmc is a real asshole or assHolt. I get the grumpy mmc trope but he is a manipulative ass who's just rude.

Then the supposedly strong fmc is okay with getting ordered around and she's also giving sexual favours to the mmc to get her dream job. And and and she's married ( an open marriage but does it really matter?).I would have loved to shake some sense into the fmc. I can still tolerate third act break ups but cheating, a big No.

I seriously don't wanna imagine a "happily ever after" after this.

Tonal shift during the third act

Another amazing story! It will consume and captivate you from beginning to end. I loved the characters, the banter and the steamy chemistry. It’s entertaining and full of emotions. I enjoyed the character growth and not to be missed.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! The author is already my favorite!! This alpha male billionaire was spicy and I just devoured this book. I love the office romance trope and how strong the fmc was!! Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe did not disappoint!!! Will be a reread for sure.

Audiobook: dual style, which is not my fave, but the story is decent

This one is a little tough to root for the happy ending. They do get one, but it's very frustrating to get there. The FMC is hard to relate to - no spoilers, since you learn this in the first chapter or two - she is in a marriage where she is in love with her husband but he is not in love with her, and the only way she could "have" him is by agreeing to an open marriage, after he strings her along for years. He partakes of this "benefit," she does not, and she convinces herself that one day he will actually love her and give up the other women he beds. This goes on for WAY longer than I wanted it to.
The MMC (not her husband) comes across for most of the book as a manipulative asshole (because tbh he kinda is), so he's hard to like.

When everything finally comes to light, there is groveling, which I appreciated. In the book, it's written that it goes on for maybe a month or two, but we as the reader don't really get to see much of the groveling.

The spice is well-written, if not entirely my thing.

All that said, I was totally hooked and pretty much couldn't put this book down, because I needed to see how it ended. I was pleased with the HEA when it all wrapped up.

Good read

This was an interesting read dealing with power, adultery, lust and love.
Sexual obsession is prevalent and it kept my interest, but dragged on way too long. I found myself skipping paragraphs, but all in all a good story.

It is a tad spicy in here folks! Holt Sebastian is
