This was much better than he first volume, wow! I really didn’t see some of the plot twists coming and the ones I did were more of a “YESS FINALLY” than a “Jeez that took a while”, which is high praise!

I think this was a great second book of the series. It really had its own Two Towers vibe, which made me very happy. Everything that is revealed throughout the pages just makes me so excited to see what happens next! And Dorian…oh how I love Dorian!

I am so intrigued by that ending!!! Honestly, I found most of this book to be pretty slow but the last 20% reaaally picked up the pace
This felt like the end of the first part of this series and I have a feeling we’ll finally start learning more about Celaena and this world in the next book, especially after all those final reveals!!
