I liked the first book and the connection between Marcus and Ayla. I didn’t realize this book was a reverse harem! I won’t be reading the other two books in the series but if you like reading reverse harems I’d continue reading!

I feel like the only hit of the book that had me interested was the last 5%. The whole story fell a bit flat for me and felt very rushed. None of the characters had much of a personality so it was hard to feel any sort of emotions towards them. However I did like that the author used a disabled fmc she lost her right arm in a shooting at the start of the book in defence of the mmc as it’s often shied away from. The book ends on a cliffhanger Marcus gets shot but I wasn’t intrigued enough by the story to want to read the sequel.
Of course they spent years watching over her while she suffered after taking 3 bullets for Marcus… well at least they’re hot.
