Ayla saved Marcus by taking 3 bullets, he was a stranger then. Him and his friends stalk her for 2 1/2 years and are all in love with her. After stopping a mugging on her the guys stop hiding their presence. But they are all in a deadly game where once a year it’s a free for all with the 12 elite heirs.
The characters were a bit one dimensional and didn't have much of a personality except for being feisty but I would still read the second book because of the cliffhanger. I hope we'll dive deeper into how they bond and connect.

I found this book series pop up on my for you page on TikTok and was instantly interested. I read this book on my Kindle and mange to finish in a couple of hours. To say I was hook was an understatement. I really loved the plot of this book and how the main character was represented as being strong while have an disability. I have never read a book so quick in my life, legit I would reread the whole series again. I loved how Ayla didn’t stop living her life after losing a part of herself. She became more confident with herself and didn’t let anyone get in the way. But what she didn’t know that there were three guys watching her in the shadows and protecting her at all costs. Marcus, Ryland and Theo kept themselves in the darkness for 2 and half years before showing themselves to Ayla. Straight away you could tell that there was sexual tension in air. There are a lot of spicy scenes in this book and I was living for it. I am giving the book 5 out of 5 stars
