I really enjoy the way Wiggs writes. Also, I want to try all the recipes in this book. However, I am so tired of men not wanting to admit how they feel and being insistent that women don't feel the way they say they do. That being said, the OTP sizzle. I'm a little upset that one of the main side stories was completely left hanging, but I'm sure that will be resolved in another book. Also, a lot of the stuff at the end was easy to piece together, but these aren't mystery novels, so that's not really surprising. Overall, good, fluffy book, like an early winter snow.

It was ok--a little jumpy in the plot at times.

The Winter Lodge is a wonderfully written book. Wiggs writing style is heart warming and the style in which she writes allows the characters to come right off the page. I didn't want to put the book down. The character of Jenny was well developed and you could really feel for all that she was going through. One complaint is that the end of the story seemed rushed and didn't seem to fit in well with the rest of the story. However, I am looking forward to reading another novel by Wiggs.

It was a bit too romance genre for me but I enjoyed the recipes a lot. The basic story kept me interested but it went on just a little too long.
