WHAT WAS THAT ENDING!!!! At first I was like how in the world can there be a part 2. And then the ending happened. Aghhhhhhhhh. I'm seeing red right now lol. I have a lot of thoughts and they're all discombobulated so I'm going to list them in numbers.

1. Ok it took me a while to like Marcella and Maddox, but now I'm like yeah I love you guys

2. Amoooooooo bring me Amo and Greta's book

3. Not enough Gianna, Matteo or the others in this book. I know it's about the kids and we'll get the other kids books soon, but still lol

3. I LOVE SEEING ARIA AND LUCA AS PARENTS. I know we got it in the anthology and stuff, but now the kids are older.

4. What was that ending. I'm fuming lol

5. Tell me while I squealed when Remo's name popped up lol - I might die when the Camorra kids' books come out. If Isabella and Alessio arent a couple I might cry

6. MADDOX GIVING HER THE NICKNAME SNOW WHITE AND HIS LAST NAME IS WHITE

7. At first I thought it was Remo/Serafina vibes but then it wasn't? I would rank Remo/Serafina above this couple but it's fine. I feel like I didn't feel as emotionally connected to Maddox and Marci, but it's also difficult because it's the first book in the next gen, so we'll see.

8. I need the next book.

9. I'm ready for Nevio/Aurora, Amo/Greta, and *fingers crossed* Isabella/Alessio.

10. CAN WE GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO THE LEAST APPRECIATED COUPLE IN THIS SERIES. CARA AND GROWL? That's all.

Yeah I need the next book asap. In the beginning, I was like why would I want a second book. Now I'm itching for one. Give the book time, you'll come to like it.

ARC KINDLY PROVIDED

FIVE FAISTY STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SO I HAVE TO START SAYING THAT THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD AND DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I WAS EXPECTING

This book is about Marcella and WOW after reading it, she quickly became one of my favorites characters. I saw her in a brand new light and she is the definition of BAD ASS WOMAN, like on another level of leadership. Fierce, Strong, Powerful and always with her head up. She was born to be nothing but a QUEEN. With her father’s pride and her mother’s strength and determination, this girl gave justice to her name forming the perfect combination of a mafia queen. I think I don’t really need to say that her personality was what called my attention the most. I was in love with her mafia queen vibes and Maddox bad boy vibes since the very beginning. They together were like fire and gasoline.

Maddox as a young child witnessed Luca Vitiello slaughter his father and all of his MC brothers. Since then he has one goal - revenge. Marcella is Luca's daughter and has been raised as the coveted princess of her 'family'. Maddox's club decides they are best able to get their revenge through Marcella. This was typical Cora Reilly with a lot of angst and darkness and some twists and turns. I very much enjoyed it and can't wait until part two to see what happens next. If you love her other books, you most likely will love this one too! The only thing that kept this from five stars for me is having to suspend belief - the very beginning seemed unrealistic, even for mafia or mc fiction, and in there are character transitions that feel too sudden at times. Despite that this is a great read and I really can't wait to get my hands on the next one!

I received an Advance Reader Copy and have voluntarily left an honest review.

We have Marcella Vitiello’s story!
This is a enemies to lovers romance with kidnapping trope. While Cora Reilly is probably best known for her mafia romance, this one is heavily plotted around a Motorcycle Club.
Marcella Vitiello (age 19) is Luca Vitiello daughter, Capo of the Italian mob on the East Coast.
He, many years ago decimated an MC - killing everyone in sight, and left a small child to witness everything who was the son of one of the MC members.
Fast forward to the child, Maddox-Mad Dog- White- who is now an adult(age 25) is seeking revenge for his father is brutal death.
And that is the basis of this story.

came to love it….

Wasn’t much of a fan in the early stages but it’s grown on me and I’m really looking forward to the next part.
