An entertaining and relatively quick read.
I felt this book dragged a bit in the middle as compared to McFadden’s other books.

The final twist was unexpected (although somewhat lackluster IMO), but the main mystery/twist was disappointingly easy to suss out.

I personally wouldn’t recommend this one :(
While the author’s writing is accessible and straightforward, the book fell a bit flat for me.

If someone is looking to read something quick, easy, and low investment, I feel there are other similar books that are more enjoyable.
Or, maybe I’ve just read one too many of this type of novel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
