A solid book for little kids. It's a very quick read and the illustrations are fantastic, so it's ideal for, like, 3-9 year olds[?].

The story's solid too.

It's dishonest to connect this to A Song of Ice and Fire, since they really have nothing to do with one another, but it is a great little story.

To było brutalne, lecz słowo, które mi się nasuwa do opisania tego to urocze. Może to tylko ja, ale dla mnie było to przyjemne i magiczne. Może to wszystko przez smoki. Trochę w klimacie przypominało mi to "Niekończącą się historię" - takie gorzko-słodkie.

Quick and fun. The story of Adara, the winter child who never quite fit in a world that worships summer, until it is her connection to winter that saves her family. I like the story until the end when she looses her special connection, but on the plus side she gets to be closer to her family.
