Adorable story, the jumps felt a little awkward to me, but I really enjoyed the growth of the characters and the sex scenes were very steamy.

I enjoyed this but I really expected to love it. I wish there was a little bit more banter between them before they started the casual fling. I also wished we actually got to see them in a relationship more; I mean we got them acting like they don’t like each other, then fling, then the 3rd act break up even though they weren’t officially together yet and then in the epilogue when they are finally together. I feel like we didn’t get enough scenes with them together and I felt we talked about their occupation way too much, I’m going to be honest, I really didn’t want to hear them talk about their jobs too much. I feel like we got more info about their jobs than we did about their relationship. I would say this is definitely my least favorite book by Mimi.

Road trip romance! Enemies to lovers! Opposites attract! There’s more tropes here than you can shake a stick at, and together they make one cute and fun romance. Jolene has historically been a bit all over the place, but she’s worked hard to get her crap together and is proud of how far she’s come. Jason is the kind of Type A list maker who plans out every moment of his day, and when they are first forced together to help out with a cross-country move, he’s so rigid I wanted Jolene to slap the planner right out of his hands. (And I say that as someone who occasionally needs the proverbial planner slapped out of her own hands, ahem.) They wouldn’t bother trying to find the middle ground if it weren’t for that pesky attraction between them. Cameos from Jason’s elderly female relatives are the perfect icing on this rom-com cake.

This was so cute! I’m a sucker for Hate to Love stories!

This book was super cute and had a fair amount of steam. I am a sucker for an enemies turned lovers trope, and this book made that trope very fun! I will definitely check out Mimi Grace’s next book!!

This story was aggressively fast.

The book was a summary of two acquaintances "falling in love."

Nearly everything ended abruptly. The time jumps made the story a little unbelievable. Their chemistry needed so much work because all this man cared about was the sex. The sex was two paragraphs long. There were some cute moments, but I felt unsatisfied with the story.

Mark??? Nothing happened to that bastard?

Most of the time, we were told about what happened and not shown how things manifested.
I couldn't care less about this couple, to be honest. However, it was a quick read. It was nothing complicated, and I didn't hate the story. I expected more.
