This was really cute and a quick read, and also kinda short. It started off really great and I love the road trip aspect to it and also the romance of course.. but the romance felt like it went down as the story progressed? Jolene and Jason were doing their own thing as individuals but as a couple.. well I’m kind of on the fence about it. Like I felt I need at least two chapters more to see their issues resolved in an orderly manner because the pacing of the story was really going great tbh. And I truly did enjoy this.. but the ending was kinda rushed.

Overall, this was a good read for me after the thriller and mystery books I’ve marathoned.

A cute romance! I loved Jason and Jolene as main characters but I didn't enjoy the pace of the book. I thought I was in for a fun road trip book with enemies to lovers. I got that, but for only 20% of the book. The rest was just them getting together or fighting. I think if it wasn't marketed as an enemies to lover road trip (two of my favorite tropes/topics in books), I would have liked it a lot more. Overall a cute romance but not what I expected.
