I’m actually finding it hard to believe that I couldn’t make myself give this book a higher rating.

The first two books in this trilogy(Crank and Glass) were just what I expected them to be - harsh, raw, devastating, an inside-look at not only the user of “The Monster”, but a look at how the family of the user was affected. Although Fallout was a good book, I didn’t feel the same connection to it as the first two books.

I am addicted to these books. Watching as the monster that did so much damage in their mom's life, these children are collateral damage. I find myself wanting to know more of their lives. I want to know what happened in the relationships. I feel invested.

This book needs to sit in a corner and think about what it did.
