Filing this in books that should have just stayed blogs, docking a point unfairly for the god awful formatting of the ebook that made parts unreadable.

A delightful collection of children’s questions answered by a working mortician. So many varied and interesting facts and insights into death traditions across cultures and times.  (Playaway listen)

Another amazing book. Caitlin Doughty manages to always be informative and humorous even when talking about the more grisly parts of death. I recommend this to anyone with any curiosity about the death or what happens to bodies after we die. All the questions covered in this book were asked by kids so some of them are really interesting.

I thought I was done with the death and dying books, but then this one popped up. A quick read, it answers questions from kids and adults about the process of dying, what happens to your body immediately after death as well as what civilizations have done for thousands of years to care for, preserve and honor their dead. I love that the author has absolutely no filter and says it like it is!

Although I already had some knowledge on the topics mentioned in this book, I did find myself learning some new things. I really loved the writing style and how accessible it was. Also the art throughout was amazing. Overall this was a fun, easy read.
