I’m not into voyerism so I was ready to meet the moth man right away. The plot was moving slow and focusing on the 🌶️ with dubious consent!
Everything Merrick says sounds like he’s a murderer 😂 and that tongue is ridiculous! Even for being fantasy monster erotica, why is his tongue 40 feet long?
For someone that doesn’t want to date, Grace sure was acting datey. She puts on one tease show for a creature outside her window, he finds her place of employment and suddenly they’re spending time together under the guise of showing him around because he’s new in town. All that to say, the characters motivations were questionable.
She starts out wanting no strings attracted attention from her peeping Tom (I’m judging but whatever) then of course he’s charming so she likes him and wants to spend time. Nothing we haven’t seen before but I just didn’t feel like it was done well.
Maybe it was the lack of build in their romance. Idk, I also listened to this while doing literally everything else in my day so I probably missed some stuff too.
Also, for as much as Nascosta talked about the politics of the town, she sure didn’t do anything with it. I guess it was kinda important background for her getting that big account for the farm. (Was that the conflict? I can’t even remember now).
- C*ck pocket!
- Lady garden.
Inner monologue in the last chapter:
- Finally! A character with some good communication
- Op nvm. All that big-gesture romance for no reason

Moderate: Emotional abuse and Toxic relationship

Thoughts:
-Very low-key romance with very little angst; a nice relaxing, chill read
- Smut is *chef’s kiss* excellent
- The world-building is wonderful; both fantastical and realistic
- Excellent chemistry between the characters, not just the main couple but the side characters as well
- Perfectly imperfect protagonists and realistic depictions of divorce and toxic relationships
- Super sweet ending without an unnecessary epilogue
Graphic: Sexual content
Minor: Emotional abuse
