FMC was a little annoying. Mothman was adorable. While I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book it was still a cute, short, and steamy story.

So cute and charming! Also pretty hot. Nacosta is maybe turning me into more of a monster f-er. Like many self-published books, this could use some editing, but to polish and fix typos and some wonkiness, not an overhaul. It didn't particularly detract from my enjoyment of the characters and their interactions.

Yeah I just did not vibe with this story. The FMC was super irritating and cringe and I couldn’t get past it.

Going in this series, you should know there's not going to be much conflict if any. The author points that out at the start. If you want a light, quick, fun read and can wrap your mind around a mothman love interest, this might be for you. I'm rating this after reading the third in the series, which I liked better. I also liked the first in the series more. The mothman is a bit of a creeper and lacks the confidence I find personally intriguing, but overall, it's not a huge drop off from the first book.
