Pleasant fluff if a bit light on action. Not crazy about the emphasis on business practices but otherwise not too bad. Pleasant characters if not all that compelling. For a quick summer sort of read, okay.

3 1/2 stars - fun book! I enjoy reading things set in Manhattan. I liked how she used the weirdness of New York to the book's advantage. Having magical creatures in the Big Apple makes all kinds of sense!

Meh.

EDIT: very meh.

Chick lit rom com books are my guilty pleasure. I can read just about any kind of ten cent airport paperback compost filler and get enjoyment from it.

I was hoping this would be lurid and trashy and fun. It was conservative and very uneventful and not magical at all.

This was a fun, easy read. My main complaint was that it was fairly monotone, not enough suspense. It was entertaining enough to keep reading the series.

Aside from the main character being from Texas, this was a great book.

Okay so I didn't hate it, but it was incredibly dull. The "story" was tedious and I just didn't care. It was a free book though so I felt like I had to finish it. Oh well.

Very funny

As a girl from Oklahoma I can appreciate the bits of sass and references to back home that might be lost on others. I really enjoyed getting to know Katie and look forward to more adventures with her.

For the past little while, I've found myself being more drawn to adult fiction and leaving YA fiction. Enchanted, Inc. was similar to some of my favourite witchy/magic YA novels, such as Hex Hall and Magic in Manhattan, except it was more adult and relatable (and not as immature). Katie is a fun character, who recognizes that she's normal, but also doesn't discredit her abilities or ideas. Enchanted, Inc. had a great balance between magic and every day life.

A non-magical person thrust into a magical world? Such a unique take on a contemporary fantasy story and I absolutely love this and can't wait to see it progress!!
