I had originally thought that this was a trilogy and was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong Lol š
I think I have to disagree with a few reviewers and say that I actually enjoyed this book and the seal breaking quests. There were quiet a few twists in this that I honestly hadnāt seen coming and that alone justified a 4 star rating. Excited to see where they go next with this story and how certain outcomes (donāt wanna spoil anything) will play out.

THE TWIST!! I am sitting here in fucking shock. This book had all the bells and whistles. Sadness, shock, smut, tension, love. I felt like I went through every emotion in the book. This series had just been shy of 5 stars until now. I wanna give this 6 stars. One of the best books Iāve ever read.
How the hell am I supposed to wait until January 2025 for the last book??? I need it now!!
Riven and Killian are the same damn person?? I never saw that coming. I mean I did think he was acting weird but I had no idea that it was this. And then the ending with her eyes being gold?? Fucking chills.

I have mixed feelings about this one if I'm being honest.
I really like the side characters, Gerarda was particularly brilliant !!! But Keera and Riven ???? please one is becoming a walking god and the other serves absolutely no purpose aside from having the biggest yet most disappoint plot twist of the saga. Keera is becoming less and less of a skilled assassin and more of a puppet using powers she doesn't understand and it makes me a little sad :( Maybe the pace of this book was a bit too fast, and so aspects of it lacked some depth ?

Okay, you had me up until the twist. There was just something about it that I couldn't really wrap my head around, maybe that's because it was the audio version and they had different voices? Also, as many reviews said before me, I thought this was a trilogy...

The plot twist towards the end had me reeling. Blair does an amazing and heart wrenching job depicting grief, guilt, and loss in a way that you donāt see often in āheroā stories. The main character Keera is so well written and all the supporting characters have so much depth.
