This was an okay horror story. If you've seen the movie, you know exactly what happens. It was fine for passing the time, but I will never pick this book up again.

A really engaging read with an interesting ending that just seems a bit underdeveloped and rushed.
Very effective at being creepy and ominous despite creepy and ominous things only happening for 5% of the actual book. Fascinating to think about Rosemary's loss of autonomy over her own body, and how the societal systems in place only supported that loss. Even the doctor who wasn't in on it! Cohersive control at its finest. And that fact that in the end, to have any control, she has to give in. There are literally no systems in place to support her at all. Yikes!

This read was rather slow for me. I didn't feel obsessed with any part of this novel. I felt like it ended rather quickly and overall felt rushed at the end.

Man I really hate Guy Woodhouse. Hutch and Rosemary both deserved better. This book gave me a lot of complicated feelings, by the end the biggest was rage. A captivating discussion on bodily autonomy, women's rights, and the occult.
