I really wanted to love this book but it fell pretty flat for me. What I loved: the pop culture references, the characters, and overall story plot. What I didn't love: the writing felt really surface level and while I liked the idea of this story, the execution did not pan out that well for me. I also didn't love the treatment of William. I thought he deserved a lot more than he was given by Shaun and Neema. I was looking for more depth overall in this book and I'm sad it wasn't there.
