Silver Swan is a re-read for me, and I forgot how much I liked it. It's been so long since I read this book. Silver Swan is book one in the Elite Kings club series. They are not standalone. I wanted to re-read and catch up on the series. I love Amo Jones work, and she never disappoints me even when I scream and ask so many questions. In my darkness scale, it’s a medium gray.
Madison Montgomery, aka Madi, seventeen years of age, is new to town and Riverside Preparatory school. Of course, she comes across the mean girls, whispering Gossip, and her and her family. Maxi is surprised when a girl befriends her need. Tatum, the complete opposite of her, and the girl could care less about the gossip. She tells her about everyone in school and the rumored Elite kings club and to stay away from them as they are trouble.
After Madi’s first day of school, Madi learns her father has remarried and has gained a new stepbrother, Nate, part of the club. So much for trying to stay away from them.
These kids are not to be trusted, surrounded by darkness and so many secrets. But out girl Madi is a no B.S. Girl. She gives them hell; Sometimes I wanted to smack her and tell her to wake up. I was waiting for her to shoot one of them. A few secrets unfold and start to get a better picture, then it all blows up and ends on a cliffhanger. And that was a whopper of a cliffhanger. Off to read the next book.

This was my first Amo Jones and I get the Hype because I was hooked from start to finish and will be diving straight into the second.
This was seriously awful. The constant song dropping, terrible sex scenes, annoying characters and people hating each other all of a sudden being in love with no chemistry.

The sliver swan was just amazing couldn't put it down looking forward to reading the next book I highly recommend this book it's must read
Nie skończyłam tej książki, ale wiem, że nie muszę. Schemat za schematem, typowy bad boy, a nawet kilku i główna bohaterka ''inna niż wszystkie", która też oczywiście nie uważa się za piękność, a do tego ekstrawertyczna, głupktowata przyjaciółka. Rodzice nie wiadomo po co istnieją w tej historii, znasz markę każdej rzeczy używanej przez bohaterów, a nasza protagonistka wstydzi się użyć słowa penis. Generalnie zachowania bohaterów pozbawione sensu, tajemnice robione na siłę i teksty dające dreszcze w negatywnym znaczeniu, np. "Bo albo mogłem cię polubić... [...] Albo cię zerżnąć/ "Taa, mała, właśnie cię wypierdoliłem". Główna bohaterka, Madison, chyba nie do końca się przejmuje, że jej ojciec miał kochankę, a jej matka użyła tej broni właśnie przez niego, w sumie ten wątek, który był najbardziej interesujący z samego opisu, wydaje się nie mieć kompletnie znaczenia na dłuższą metę i jakby go nie było i zmienić wersję na taką, gdzie matka bohaterki po prostu odeszła i porzuciła swoją córkę, to wiele by to nie zmieniło.
Bardzo mnie rozbawiło, gdy ojciec Madison chciał ją ukarać, to był początek jednego z rozdziałów i po jednym słowie "Madi?'' i kolejnych kilku akapitach rozmyślań Madison i słowach nowej partnerki ojca, powiedział w końcu "- Już więcej żadnych imprez. - Po tych słowach znika na korytarzu, a Elena rusza w ślad za nim". To wszystko, to absolutnie wszystko na ten temat.
Jak wiadomo powszechnie, sceny seksu w takich książkach, nie są zbyt dobre i w tym przypadku (nie)stety nie jest inaczej.
Książka brzmi jak słaby debiut napisany przez nastolatkę z wattpada. Nie marnujcie na to czasu, a szczególnie pieniędzy, nawet w ramach swojego guilty pleasure.

I really wanted to like this book more than I did. I saw someone live tweet as they read 4th and 5th book which are the books for another couple in this story (won’t say who so you’re not spoiled if you do continue this series… unlike me). I’m usually not a bully romance person even though I love dark romance; this slipped into bully romance a couple times but I’d didn’t deter me because I liked the mystery aspect of the storyline.
However that mystery of “what’s going on behind the scenes and who is the actual big bad” can only hold a girl so long
