1-3 * It's pretty meeh (khm awful khm) but I did finish it, and I rarely give a book less than 3* if I finish it.

I'm not sure where all the raving reviews are coming from..
It had a lot of potential and I liked the premise, but it was extremely poorly executed. I understand what the authors intentions were 100%, but it's honestly quite depressing what it actually turned out to be.
I didn't like ANY of the characters. Don't even get me started on the heroine, one of the dumber ones out there.. No chemistry between the couple, or anyone else really.

I understand that the boys were supposed to be DARK and MYSTERIOUS, but it was honestly quite cringe worthy and all of it seemed very forced.
I was reading the words, but there were no emotions in that book. I felt no excitement, no fear, no love, nothing really.

I didn't care about the ending. Meaning I didn't NOT like it..I just didn't care about it. It didn't make me feel shocked or sad or excited for the next book. It was just MEH.

Basically i felt nothing :D - NO BUENO WHEN READING A BOOK!

This book was great, good story but I did find madison a bit annoying sometimes. I didn’t really understand how she could forgive those guys like nothing happend in 2 seconds lol. Really looking forward to the next books, I hope to read more about bishop and the guys.

NO ŻESZ KURNA NIE

I don’t even know where to begin with this book. I’m stuck in the middle of if I liked it or not. I spent majority of the book confused as to what was going on. Most of this book is a little mystery, overly horny high school teenagers, and just a weird group of characters in general. I was a bit let down that we really didn’t get any answers by the end of the book. (Don’t you just love cliffhangers?) All in all, it kept me interested just enough to MAYBE read the second book in this series.

The story itself is interesting but the characters were immature and flat. I’m going to read the next book to determine if i should continue.

Loving it

Oh my good god isn’t this just a little mind f**k of a book

I just can't make myself continue to read this.

Wow

Another beautifully dark and twisted story from the phenomenal Amo Jones! Looks like I’ve found a new series to get addicted to.

Whelp, at least I tried.

The plot seemed very intriguing, and it was to an extent, but the writing just killed it for me. I didn't feel a connection from the beginning to any of the characters, and it was too plain for me? I wouldn't pay to read the next one even though I'm curious about the ending. I ended up skimming this book after 20% and I don't think I missed much. It's such a shame, I loved the blurb, it was amazing. The book, not so much.

Am I an outlier on this one? It seems to have good ratings so maybe it's just me.

dnf at 65% I'm very disappointed with this book. I wanted to read this, it's right up my alley however this if fully of inconsistencies, the FMC is stupid, and the worst part is that I didn't really struggled that much to read 65%. The blurb is interesting, I'm sure she has the mark, the whole thing with the book was interesting however, the characters, the world, the writing was ALL wrong. This is again another 'don't read this', don't matter if you think you are gonna love it because I though the same.

I don't really think I can give you the 'good' things of this book but I can in fact give you the bad.
- There are a LOT of inconsistencies (like a prestigious and rich school wouldn't have a co-ed gym; he is going 100 mph or 160 k/h and in 3rd gear? I don't know what time of car you drive; she only notices her stepbrother (no blood relationship) has a piercing her when they are kissing, mind you he doesn't shut up the whole book so; Bishop called the cleaning service, yet Nate and Tatum were supposed to take the trash out; a shared bathroom in a mansion is weird as fuck; she has Bishop's phone number without any mention prior; there was no service in the forest but she could still contact her friend;)
- This isn't necessarily bad but if you are making a book of 30 chapters somewhere around the 15/16 chapter should be the middle of the book, while here 50% is in chapter 20 with 30 chapters overall
- Look for someone who has been alone her whole life it's very very weird for her to be naked around a new friend
- She is in fact stupid
- Bishop and his friends just manhandled her A LOT and yet she still follows him to her tent and suddenly they are talking about being friends with benefits

Something's I think are just stupid on the author's part like
- Like how come Tatum knows everything and everyone yet had no friends prior to Madison?
- If Bishop doesn't have decorations of photos in his space how does she know it's his?
- I'm pretty sure Bishop drugged her, because she just starts sleeping like that, and the author could have made some sort of mention that the FMC felt dizzy but no
- In romance books we all know the cheating trope is a big no no, yet she mentions that Tillie's friend sometimes cheats with her, like she is fully aware (this takes ALL the character buildup of her)
- Guns do in fact kill people

The only good thing I think I can point out is that she didn't start with the whole spew of 'I'm not like other girls, if they think they can break me I'm gonna show them' but she didn't have any sort of brain so.
