It’s 1995 in the small rural town of Dalton Maine, and Where the Forest Meets the River by Shannon Bowring tells the story of the town after a woman commits suicide.  We meet many people who were connected to her, each in their own chapters, including her daughter, her husband, and many others.  It is a slow, kind of quiet read, with mostly likeable characters, who are figuring out life.  I enjoyed reading this one, and would recommend.   #wheretheforestmeetstheriver #shannonbowring #lovetoread #readersofinstagram #storygraph #mainenovel #booknerd #readallday
