Funny, but not as insightful as some of the other stories so far. I still enjoyed it.

Wit and wizardry entwined as always, Pratchett's words are an unfailing delight.

I can't believe I'd never read a Discworld book before now. Pratchett serves up the zany, clever, satirical humor that I dig. Very Douglas Adams-esque. Never mind that it's fantasy (his satire actually works better because of it), Pratchett's humor while remarking on human foibles is very real-world. In this particular book, it's not hard to see the ossified condition of modern academia in the Unseen University, or funny East-meets-West cultural car crashes as the protagonists venture to Al Khali. It's weird, it's smart, and I am here for it.
