It was great to have another Rincewind and Luggage story. I stand by my previous thoughts about Rincewind, with him being the bravest coward in the literary world. All he wants to do is live a mundane life but life is just not allowing him to do that. He picks up some new companions in the tale with the awesome Conina (love her) and the hapless Nijel the destroyer.

In this story, Rincewind is humanity’s last hope after Sourcery rears its head in Discworld in the form of ten year old Coin. Coin leads the wizarding world to seek to rule the Discworld with disastrous outcomes. Death and the four horsemen of the apocalypse make an hilariously drunk appearance.

As always, these books are a delight to read and make me loud out loud throughout. The best thing I have done this year is set the goal to read all the Discworld books.

Listening to these books are so funnnn. Despite just having listened to it though I can't actually pick out major plot points but twas a fun journey. To the nexttt

He's got a really rich wit that oozes through the writing. Makes me interested in more discworld. But, y'know, none of Coin's arc feels earned, it happens immediately, there's a decent amount lacking. But it's a book that makes you want it to be better. A lot of really clever jokes through the prose, the orangutan stuff works well and the Death scenes were some of my favorite.
