4⭐️ This book took me a minute to get into, especially because I am not a fan of books that lack punctuation (in this case, quotation marks). However, once I did, I really loved it. The found family and the relationships and friendships that developed throughout the book were delightful. I do think it was a little long, but I’m glad I stuck with it.

I've heard great things about this book, but the writing style is ruining it for me. Not worth continuing.

just a bit too slow for me and I can enjoy a plotless character study if it's written in a certain way... this one just wasn't for me! and that's okay.

I loved this novel. It’s very character-driven, which I loved. The cast of characters were all unique in their own way and I loved them all (but especially Cressy and Claude).
