Tangled Up by Sophie Andrews

This spicy romcom was so cute! I loved reading about Gemma and Jason, especially with their banter back and forth. Gem is a free spirited hippie chicken who is assigned to the Maid of Honor duties for her mother's 4th wedding. Jason is the godson to Gemma's soon to be step-father, the Best Man, and is an uptight, straight-laced business man. To say that these 2 initially clash is an understatement! But, sparks soon begin to fly when they are around each other. Will they both be able to get over their past and move forward together? You'll have to read to find out!
This is a great opposites attract, enemy to lovers, he falls first spicy read!

THIS BOOK WAS SO GOOD
The writing was really good, the characters were freaking amazing, the banter, the steamy and sweet moments EVERYTHING was good.
My favorite thing about this book was the banter between Gemma and Jason. The minute they met they started bickering and I loved it. They give as good as they get. They are both completely different but work so well together.
They had a lot of ups and downs like any regular couple would. I did feel like they could have avoided a lot of drama if they would have spoken and not gotten as mad. It was a bit frustrating seeing them argue over something dumb BUT them making up made it worth it.
I wouldn't call this book enemies to lovers though. Its definitely a opposites attract type of book. Jason and Gemma didn't hate each other she just kind of judged him before even speaking to me (which is were the little banter starts) but they never hated each other.

Gemma is a bit of a ā€˜say how it is, vegan hippy chickā€™ who doesnā€™t take shit off anyone and speaks her mind and does what she likes really.
Sheā€™s asked to go along to her mothers party and she springs it on her itā€™s because sheā€™s engaged to Frank, who will be husband number 4. But Frank is lovely and her mum says itā€™s going to be forever. She seems much happier than she has in a long time.
She meets Jason, Frankā€™s godson who he brought up from around 13 yrs old when his parents died in a car crash. Heā€™s also his partner in their business, Santos and Mitchell.
She finds herself arguing with him A LOT, but he can also be quite firm and insists heā€™s driving her home as sheā€™s cycled there and itā€™s dark and sheā€™s had a few to drink.
But itā€™s not hate sheā€™s feeling, and he doesnā€™t feel that either. Thereā€™s something behind all their arguing and being horrible to each other. Thereā€™s spark! But will they or wonā€™t they? Find out by reading all about them.
Loved this story, low level spice and a great back story. Gemma is a bit of a sod, she knows she doesnā€™t conform and she doesnā€™t try to. Jason is the complete opposite of her but thereā€™s electricity between them.
I love the way the story goes, and it makes me laugh in places. Nicely written and Iā€™m eagerly waiting now for the next book so I can find out all about Gemmaā€™s friend, BrontĆ«.
I love finding new authors and Sophie Andrewā€™s did not disappoint me.

Gemma is a vegan yogi art teacher, and Jason is an engineer who likes to keep everything perfect. When they show up to a surprise engagement party for her mom and his god father they hated each other. I mean isnā€™t that how all great love stories start?

I loved seeing the character development in this book, and the relationship grow. I feel like so often when book characters fight you donā€™t see any real resolution but with this book you see them talk everything out. They look at their differences and still seem to make it work.

Everything felt very real but at the same time still perfect like the love stories you grew up with but with a dash of real life. I will definitely be looking forward to getting my hands on Brontes story.

Also if you enjoy this book make sure to get the bonus chapter!!
