I picked this up mostly based on the title, and it was an interesting read - a bit humorous, a bit weird - just following the mundane day to day of this very flawed main character dealing with an undiagnosed illness and her interactions with people (both real and hallucinated). I don’t mind a no plot, just vibes story, and this was an easy and short read. I was entertained the whole time by the conversations and lead’s inner thoughts. However, I thought this would be more impactful or have more to say (specifically about her unseen illness) so I was left wanting a bit more depth. 🗣👤⛅️

This book was exactly what I needed right now. It perfectly hits the nail on the head of what it is like to live with chronic illness. Easy going and easy to read yet moving and honest. I’m not sure if it will appeal to a wide audience but I loved it and it resonated so much. “And medicine…can’t begin to untangle it, let alone measure it or heal it. So it dismisses it and it diminishes it, tries to make it all our fault”.

Nope. Not for me. This book is kind of weird, almost nothing happens. The main character has one of those invisible illnesses. She sees ghosts, etc. not much of a story, sadly
