I thought that this book was funny ,mysterious and interesting because the author tried to make you feel like you were in the story watching it all unfold.

I so often wish for half stars, because this is such a delight but I daren't hand out 5 stars willy-nilly or it loses its special-ness.

This is Steven's homage to Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express and it's a treat from start to finish, I read it at night before bed and got some very late sleeps as a result, it's hard to put down.

All the characters are well-differentiated and memorable, the solution make sense, and the getting from A to B is amusing and engaging (so many mystery novels make everything such a slog, as if forgetting they're also a book and might want to entertain along the way).

(Note: 5 stars = amazing, wonderful, 4 = very good book, 3 = decent read, 2 = disappointing, 1 = awful, just awful. I'm fairly good at picking for myself so end up with a lot of 4s). I feel a lot of readers automatically render any book they enjoy 5, but I grade on a curve!

I love this series so much…this book was so much fun! A lot of people have said this felt like Murder in the orient express which I have not read but now I might have to because this was so good.
I just love Daisy and Hazel so so much and seeing their dynamic and they’re like my babies! definitely did not guess the murder correct and I love that. I enjoyed the new characters we got to meet this book and overall just had a great time being in this world ✨✨

Exceptionally solid murder mystery in a solid series. I love everybody, including the first appearances by Hazel's family! Oh man I love her dad. And appearances from last book! And you can see over-arching plot building!

Great mystery book not only for mid-graders and YA but also for the grown ups :)
There are only moments when I wish Daisy had a bit better attitude towards Hazel but i guess that's part of her character and the friendship routine with Wong so I'll dismiss it.
