I didn’t realize I could love a sequel as equally as much as the first book until this story. I loved seeing the change in relationship dynamics between the characters and felt that Audra’s character arc was so well done. Despite her personal growth she still kept her darker side, and remained unapologetic about it (which is why I loved her to begin with).

I loved getting an expansion on the world and venturing to the other side of the sea! Again, Ella Fields did a fantastic job of setting the scene and world building!

This book was full of so much tension and so many plot twists I felt like I got whiplash - in the best possible sense! I love when an author can surprise me, taking me to unexpected places.

This book left me with one of the worst book hangovers I can remember! I know it’s over but I want so much more!

First off, Audra and Zad are SO STUBBORN.

This was another instance where you think you know what’s happening in the book and then everything changes and you’re like, “wait what?”

Audra was both very smart and very stupid in this book. Some of her decisions had me face palming. Some of her and Zad’s words to one another really had my heart hurting but I’m happy with the ending.

The world building is awesome and not too overwhelming where you’re drowning in descriptions and who’s who and what’s what.

The ending was perfect and the epilogue had my heart doing a happy dance.

Fast-paced, fantastical, and action packed!

Ella Fields treats us to a damn good time in The Stray Prince! We spend most of that time in Beldine, the magical land of fae, in this installment. It's a whole new landscape to explore full of enchanted forest and magnificent creatures of all kinds. There's a new asshole wearing a crown thrown into the mix, too! I'm telling you, you will be entertained!

Our beloved couple's love is put to the test when a long buried secret comes to light. I have to be honest though. Ella did such a great job of convincing me that those two were meant to be in AKSC, I never doubted their commitment to one another for a second. The angst level felt much less intense than what I'm used to from this author because of that. That being said, it should be! This is an already established couple that are still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. If I doubted them immensely, then I probably didn't believe in them in the first place.

The continuation of Audra and Zad's love story is refreshing and beautiful. Don't get me wrong, they have to work through some shit. It's not all sunshine and rainbows, but they have such a deep love and respect for each other that it's incredible to experience.

A King So Cold fans, you don't want to miss this one!

Perfect ending!

I wished Zad had been more than I saw him. Bit I loved Audra! She can be judged because she is a female, or her father's daughter. But she stayed true to herself! The strongest heroine till now.

Good HEA, after a lot of darkness

An excellent sequel to the first. Queen Audra can truly be her own enemy, but she is also very capable of saving herself. It was great to read a duet where the heroine had her own power.
