AJ Cook was perfect for this!

This was SO SO SO SO good!!! Such a great production! This is an audio book only.

This book will sit with me for a while. It is not a feel good story. Lucinda Berry is a great author.

Narration: 5
dark fast-paced

If you "liked" Saving Noah, you'll "like" this one. Another tough parental subject by Lucinda, but an interesting read.

I don’t think I like how the audiobook was produced. And it seemed v predictable compared to this authors other books. I’m still a Lucinda Berry stan tho.

This is one of those times where listening via audio book would be vastly different than reading. If I were rating it based on the performances of the narrators, it would be a five-star. But the underlying material itself only warrants the rating I gave it.

I've never listened to an audio book before, and when I found out this was only available in that form, I was hesitant to start. I listened to it within a day, and it was fantastic. The narration was perfection and really gave the characters life.
Lucinda Berry did it again and really made you feel for the characters in a very tough situation.
This book wasn't necessarily surprising, and I knew what was coming, but that didn't make it any less heartbreaking. I really felt for the main character, Felicia, who was put in an impossible situation with her son.
