This was fine. I feel the term thriller is being used a little loosely lately, as I would not consider it a thriller at all, more of a domestic drama. A decent one, just no major twists or turns, nothing terribly exciting but a good story.
was just okay. was just not my thing. It was just so predictable! By reading other reviews her other books seem a little more twisty and I'm tempted to check them out. I just think the novelty of the audiobook being three and a half hours long drew me in and ultimately was the same thing that let me down.

I’ll admit this was fairly predictable from the get go of who had done it. I had one chapter left and was a little disappointed with how this left me feeling. I was prepared to walk away from this audiobook giving it a 3 star, however the last chapter redeemed the book and landed that fourth star.

The story was fantastic! Lucinda Berry does a stellar job at making her reader experience so many intense emotions. I felt like I was the mother in the story. I wish the book would’ve been longer because I was to the end before I knew it. I think it is one of Berry’s shorter books. I highly recommend this book to all.
4 Stars
This was a great audiobook. The narrators were awesome, and you really felt the emotion in their voices. I saw a few other reviews saying it was predictable, but I still found it thrilling and extremely heartbreaking.
What's more important? Nature or Nurture? Listen to this audiobook for a very compelling theory.
I totally would read this as a full length novel with more details about the narrator's life and her past. Overall this was a great experience and I totally recommend to other thriller lovers and/or fans of Lucinda Berry.

Eh.
Kinda wish the ending would've been just a little more "dragged" out rather than "here's how it is, the end". Felt like the Author was trying to sweep a bit too much under the rug instead of telling it out like the rest of the story.
Gotta love A.J. Cook's narration though.
