I love this series!! It’s such a binge worthy read. Mac’s journey is honestly one of my favourites. How she switches from frothy, pink loving party girl to badass fae slayer is amazing.
Barrons is all kinds of arrogant and hottt. That ending though. Hate it every time. Poor Mac.

What the FUCK? That ending????? What even????????
I obviously have been loving this series and this was no exception. It's only getting a bit lower of a rating due to the fact that I felt like not a TON happened in this book. It definitely made the mood of this series a lot darker and that ending was INSANE but other than that it was a lot of speculating and not getting answers. But I made me pumped to pick up the next book!!!

The books progressively adds more sex/obsession with sex. The characters make poorer choices as the story progresses rather than developing positively.
I really like this series. I'm so happy that the first one was offered as a free Kindle download on Amazon because I don't know if I would have found the series on my own.
This is supposed to be a 5-book series, and I think I may have to wait until the 5th book is released to start the 4th book. They end on such terrible cliffhangers, and I know I'll be upset if I finish the 4th book and there's not a copy of the 5th book waiting for me.
I really like how Mac has matured throughout the series. While she still occasionally drives me crazy with her worrying about her pink nail polish and getting her shoes scuffed, those occasions are few and far between now. She's actually turned into a pretty badass character.
I love the MacHalo. These books manage to be humorous while still having that whole "I need to save the world" thing going on.
Once I finish this series, I may look into reading some of Moning's other series. Highly recommend!

I just have to start book 4 now. Faefever was mindblowing and that ending... Just what the fuck? Are you serious?

I completely lost interest in this series. On one hand things just got incredibly boring: There is little to none character development and no chemistry between MacKayla and … literally anyone at all.
On the other hand, there is this bad habit among authors of introducing subplot after subplot, basically signalling that they are going to milk this cow 100% dry, no matter the cost. And with Faefever, you can almost sense about seven follow-ups and at least one spin-off in the air.
(I just looked it up: It's actually six follow-ups and a (two-book) spin-off. I … I just can't

IMHO, this is the book in the series that hooks you in. The first two had a lot of build-up and background and this is a book that starts to bring some of it together. Yet, it still leaves you hanging in a lot of ways. I still no nothing about Jericho Barrons or V'Lane or their true motives, and just talk about a cliffhanger ending!
If I had picked up this book when it first came out, I would be dying right now and more than a little angry that I had to wait weeks or months or years for the next book. Thankfully, that's not my fate. On to book 4!!!
