What the hell?! I would have never guessed that ending, probably because I was hoping for a miracle.
The core story of the Fever series is intriguing, but I often wish the main character would just get out of the way. This is truer in this book than the previous two. Also, I despised the ending. Just...bleh. I need a shower.

I'm still picking my jaw up from off the floor...

FIVE FAE-TASTIC STARS! TO THE MOON AND BACK!!
This book. THIS BOOK! THAT ENDING. #DYING
OH. MY. GAWWWWWD.

I had been primarily listening to the audiobook while reading, and I actually sat in a dark room for 15 mins after the book ended, with my headphones on, willing the narrator to come back and say "PSYCHE!"...but, I'm sad to say she didn't. I replayed the last 5 mins of the book, and found that yup, the ending was indeed the same as it was the first time I listened to it. I gasped. My jaw dropped. My life flashed before my eyes.
I can't even...

I just.... This book....

The ending... Cliffy... I can't...

Where do I go from here?

Oh, I can't sit idly by after THAT just happened at the end. I've gotta pull myself together, I've gotta...

It's not every day that a book can grip me like this one did, and keep me shocked and awed throughout. I LOVE this series. I LOVE these characters. These books just keep getting better and better with time. I just want to shout it from the rooftops and go tell it on the mountain: "I LOVE THE FEVER SERIES!!"

ONWARD, STRAIGHT TO THE NEXT EFFIN' BOOK!

PS, I'm so glad I didn't have to wait a year for the next book, and that it's currently awaiting me on my kindle and audible app.

I've never read a book where I was totally confused as to how many stars to give it. That ending was just...I'm at a loss. I hated what happened at the end and not just because it was cliffhanger-ish. But do I give only 3 stars just because I didn't like what happened when I know the story is far from over? I also thought the book dragged a little in the middle until the last few chapters when it was pretty fast-paced, so maybe 3 stars is deserved. Also, thanks to this book, I find myself saying 'feck' all the damn time...thank you Dani. I'll still keep reading the series, but this book for many reasons was just a 3-star for me. Even though that last chapter is going to haunt me for awhile.
Still riveting but this one took a little longer to get through. However I'm ready to jump right in to #4!
