Ce tome est le meilleur des trois que j'ai lus pour l'instant. On prend de plus en plus ses marques dans le monde créé par Moning, le rythme est haletant...Et cette fin, cette fin!!!!

I liked this one a lot better than the previous 2. I'm finally starting to like Mac....not as much Barrons but a little and that's only because I've already started Dreamfever so I see what he does in the beginning there.

If by the end of this series I don't totally love Mac, or Barrons, or V'lane, or any other character...it doesn't matter. The suspense and mystery that is weaved through this book is absolutely AMAZING. By the end of Faefever my heart was racing and wanting to cry for Mac. My emotions were all over the place!

I have never dreamed so much about a series before! I started dreaming from book 1!! I have never had that happened before....the Shades *shudders*

I'm starting to break out in fevers reading these books. And not in a good way.

This isn't some fever because my white blood cells are battling a virus/bacteria ... This is a fever that compels me to keep reading this dumpster fire story.

Maybe there is a Fae magic that can cure me?

Honestly - the world building in these books - Ugh. It's kind of all over the place. There is no depth to it ... no meaning. It's all fanciful.

And I really dislike how the FMC (Mac) is treated - a lot of it doesn't actually make any sense.

And why in the world are the older people (for example Rowena the Grand Mistress of the sidhe-seers) so childish? I would think that in her old age and experience and as a HUMAN, Rowena would try to help Mac - but as it is - Rowena is as much a bitch to Mac, as her Fae (?) paramours.
Why? Isn't there enough conflict in the book already?

The MMC's too - who are thousands of years old - are little bitches.

Age brings wisdom - or its supposed to.

1000's of years old Fae men - one would think they would be worldly, wise, patient, considerate... Living so long would have deep effects on personality and character development.

But no - the ancient and powerful Fae men are pretty much teenage boys, with growly voices. That irks me no end!

Next rant on Book 4.

The ending of this third book will leave you desperate for more story. If only I didn't loath book 4. Sigh. Alas.
Apparently I gave this book 4 stars on LibraryThing so I must have liked it more than I recall. ;)

Another great book! Maybe a little slow at times but, intriguing and I can't put the book down! And, OMG the end of the book sex with the 3 dark princes one of them being "The Lord Master" "Sex that was worth dying for" Okay I have to read book 4 now!!! and, I mean right now.... on to book 4 thank goodness I am not having to wait!!!
adventurous dark mysterious fast-paced

OMG this series is getting sooo good! I love how this novel really changes the game of the book and shows how crazy everything is about to get. I love Mac...she's awesome. Such a great female main character. Jericho Barrons is amazing...I can't wait to learn more about him (if I ever do!) Excited to start the next one in the series.

*actual rating: 2.5 out of 5*

This suffered hard from middle book syndrome. Not much plot development happened between the end of the last book and the end of this one, except everything goes to crap in this one and you're left with a cliffhanger.
