Every book is better than the last, never a dull moment with Mac and Barrons. I found myself craving for a Mac-Barrons confrontation/talk/bickering!

I loved every single page of it, no need to elaborate, but i must admit, the end was kinda off-putting for me. It was uhmm... graphic and weird? Don't get me wrong i like graphic (and weird :p) but not in this case. I never expected that to happen and the way it did. Anyway, I'll turn a blind eye and hope that things will get better in the next installment.

Lots of things happened, the plot is getting thicker and could it get any more thrilling?! Can't wait for my next fix!

I can't believe she left it like that. If I was reading these as they came out (and thank goodness I'm not), I would have been so mad she left it like that. I can't believe it got to *be* THAT. For some reason, I would have thought some of the things that happened in this book would happen in the next, but I suppose it had to happen now to give time to talk about after, and hopefully get back to a happy place. I mean, the author reminded us that the first book said this is a story about light, so I have to believe Mac will have her HEA. But getting there is beginning to be pure torture... for Mac AND the reader! This is such a well written mystery. I mean it's PNR (maybe bordering on straight urban fantasy), but so many clues, so many unanswered questions, so many what-ifs. My brain is bursting with it all! And even though #5 isn't due out for a couple of weeks, I'm going to torture myself, let myself read #4 KNOWING it ends with a cliffhanger, probably one even bigger than this one based on people's reactions, but I *have* to know what happens next. How could she leave it like this??? Even if I don't have to wait for the next one, I was expecting some semblance of closure when I finished it last night. But no. I have a feeling I'm going to wish she wrote more than five in this series, but there is another series set in the same place coming.

Reread 1/2021: Rereading in preparation for the final book in this series. At least this time I knew what was coming at the end. :-)

Finally I feel like Moning's Fae world is all coming together for me. Although I enjoyed the first two books, it was very heavy in the world building and getting to know Mac. Mac, the MC, is not the most likable and easiest to connect with but I really feel like this is the book where I'm starting to see what all the fuss is about. Mac's world is very dark, very disturbing, but full of some of the sexiest males ever - so it's a good balance. The story line was extremely intriguing and found it difficult to put the book down towards the last half. The ending really leaves you in a place where you have to download the next book in the series ASAP!

I'll definitely be continuing with this series!

Karen Marie Moning has gotten better with each novel in the Fever series.

Her heroine has gone from a boring, vapid Southern ditz to an interesting heroine-in-the-making with a little bit more backbone.

I enjoyed how the story has progressed with the sides working a little together and the character development has really improved.

I was like "WHAT?!?" at the end. Definitely a great cliffhanger!

This was perfection from start to finish. It was funny af. The ending was wild. I didn't want this book to end but it did. I inhaled it in a single day. This is by far the best book in the series. If I had to rank them it would be like the following:

Faefever
Darkfever
Bloodfever

Also Jericho's subtle jealousy was fucking *chef's kiss*

Even better than the second book.

I've gotten very bad lately for keeping up with my reviews. Anyway, this was about the same as the other two as far as I remember (annoying and completely forgettable with casual stereotyping of Dublin and its inhabitants).

I've got to the point with this series where I honestly couldn't care less what happens to the characters, they are all awful. But feel I have invested so much time in it that I have to see what happens in the end (very annoying).

Can feel brain cells dying every time I attempt to get through it...
