you’ve got to be fucking kidding me. What kind of ending? That was sooo disrespectful. It was good but that ending was unacceptable. why would you do that to her? turn her into the one thing that she thoroughly repulsed... how the fuck are we gonna kick ass with mac if she’s pri-ya????

I read some reviews that said as you read you will love Mac more and more. The opposite happened for me. At the start, Mac obviously was shallow and lived in a bubble, she even admitted to it. Her character was very honest and open yet as the book goes she is constantly doing things half-assed indulging to cravings and is continuously paranoid obviously she does need to be paranoid but sometimes it's just excessive. Her conscience is lacking her senes of morality is deteriorating and she justifies it for the greater good which is still unacceptable. And there is also constant repetition about the past books that are excessive as well. Yet I did somewhat enjoy this book the end was CRAZY and I do want to read the 4th book. Anyway, what I'm trying to get at is this book had so much potential and was great at some parts yet lacked in others. It just felt like Mac contemplated her problems more than she tried to solve them. And she acted like the problem at hand was solely hers to solve I feel like she doesn't realize that there's a goal consensus among the key players and that if they unite s* can get done quicker and more efficient but noo none of them trust each other and that hinders them. All the players have something to contribute and if they put their difference aside they could defeat the LM that sounded so cliche. But its true Rowena has an army of sidhe-seer Barrons has a lifetime of knowledge V'lane has power connections and Christian has wise uncles and can truth detect. Overall, I am disappointed in the characters it seems to me there all so stationary except Dani she's my favourite you can tell that kid is ready to act, unlike some characters. Anyway, moving on to the 4th book hopefully it's better.
