What kind of ending is that?! So glad I'm getting this series on my Kobo and the following book is just a quick download away!
5-stars for twists (multiple!) that I never saw coming.
Each Fever book so far gets better and better as I go!
I loved this one, even if the ending wrecked me! Faefever really built on the overall plot of the series, and everything seems to be coming together now! This series remains fun and faced paced, very easy to read, while maintaining its darker themes. I was surprised Moning did what she did in this book—but she did. And I have no idea what the fallout is going to be, for Dublin, the world, or Mac. But I’m not quitting now. Mac has shed most of her original naïveté she started out with and is truly becoming a strong and smart player in the game that is the hunt for the Sinsar Dubh. Barrons remains an enigma, and I love him for it. V’lane is still the sexy good time he’s always been. And that ending—I can’t even say anything more because I have to keep going!

I'm most definitely hooked on this series. I read this one in one day. I could not put it down. And OMG the cliffhanger. The world building is a perfect balance. The build up to the truth about the Book has me on edge. Who can Mac trust, really? Just when you think she can trust one person over another, KMM throws us a curve ball. And the continued mystery and truth about Barrons and V'Lane has my stomach in knots - its frustrating. But thank god for the MacHalo. Mac had me rolling. I love the characters in this series.
I found this book really dull. The hype for this series is all about books 4 and 5 so I guess I am finally there and I suspect that by book 3, the slow build has gotten to be a bit too slow for me. I am still bugged by the lack of character development, the story is just more and more of the same and even the action which is all that has really been carrying these books so far has become repetitive and dull. Anyhow, it is still a fast, light read (faster if I could stay awake) but still so onward I go. Now I am finally up to the coveted book 4 and I am hoping to be more entertained than I was with this one.
Gah, this bloody series infuriates me. Why??? Barrons just went back on my shit list. Not that I found many redeeming qualities in him before. Yet, everyone else is Team Barrons. I don't get it. This ending though.....So depressing. Poor Mac. She tries so hard to do the right thing. Yet, she's pawned off at every turn by another using bad boy player. To turn her into what she turned to in the end breaks my heart. I'm headed into book four infuriated over Dublin and over the loss of Mac's innocence. She held her own against the best Alphas in this series, but loses it in a takedown from multiple Gods.
