This is not a good series, I do NOT recommend it, but goddamn do I want answers (justification)

What the fuck was with the ending????
This book left me so disgusted, I can't tell you in words how horrible I feel. Again, WHAT THE FUCK??? This was not the way this book was supposed to be, not the way it was supposed to end. What the fuck?
SpoilerReally? This is it? Her fucking three Unseelie Princes and calling them "my dark princes" ??Ughhh, I hate it!
I officially HATE you, Mac! I knew there was something with this series I didn't liked. I now know for sure that I hate the third book. I'm not even sure if I will ever get around the fourth one. And the painful thing is, I was just starting to like her, after three miserable books.
I really thought that the MacHalo was the reason why everyone loved the series, but then as it is, I find no character worthy of me wasting my time on this.

Barrons is a douchebag. I've read countless heroes that are alpha to the core and that are not assholes.
V'lane only shows up when it's convenient, he's just "blah". I'm sorry that I could ever think that he could ever aproach the sweetheart that Adam was.

I feel that that everything Karen Marie Moning has tried to do with this series has been erased. All her efforts with her characters and the plot have just gone to the trash. I felt cheated reading this thing. I honestly don't believe that rape happening to Mac was the only way for her to show character growth. If Moning didn't have enough imagination to continue writing, she should have just taken a break and then come back with a smart idea.

What she did right now was plain cheating. Besides, if I wanted to read a story about a Priya becoming the shit, I would have found something like this. Instead, I wanted to read Mac becoming the shit. She just cheated on me! Making me almost read 4 books, what a waste of time!

Just "yucks". The ending just spells out "I DON'T HAVE ANYMORE IMAGINATION!!"

-------- original review

Let’s start off with that ending. Woah. Did not see that coming in the least. Jesus. Crazy. I couldn’t imagine having to wait for the next book, so I’m glad I can jump into it immediately.

But back to some other main points of the book. First, I still don’t trust V’lane or the mysterious Seelie queen at all. Come on Mac, stop hanging out with him! Next, I have some trepidation over the
Spoiler sabotage of the sphere. I just can’t believe Barrons would’ve done that, expose all the sidhe-seers to such monstrosities. I mean, I know he’s ruthless reguarding the Book, but that would just be necessary.
And speaking of Barrons, when are we going to find out what he is?! Sometimes I think he must be the Unseelie King, but other times I really have no idea. Lots of lovely antagonistic scenes between him and Mac though. I love you, Barrons.
Spoiler Come save Mac!! Where were you?!

Overall, this has definitely been the best so far, and I feel like each of these just gets better and better. Which makes me even more anxious to start the sequel.

Still just as amazing the second time through!!

Please be aware if considering this book:
Start with book one
It deals with a serious Alpha male.
This series is dark, but that makes the light spots that much brighter.

GOD WHAT THE HELL THAT ENDING OH MY GODDDD I wasn't feeling this series that much but my god those last few chapters got me hooked
